cody and kellie had a stunning destination wedding in front of a waterfall at grizzly ridge, a private acreage owned by goldie creek estates just outside of invermere, bc.
it was a beautiful day in a gorgeous location and they did a great job of setting up the space for the perfect ambiance. i loved how the chairs were nestled into the trees and the aisle that kellie walked down extended down the long winding path that lead through the forest.
kellie looked so beautiful… i loved her floral crown and sparkly flats. cody was all in black and looked like some sort of cowboy rockstar… it suited him perfectly. cody and kellie’s son mason was in a little suit as well… the bowtie didn’t fit since he’s growing like a weed but you didn’t even miss it with the vest and the shoes. it was just too much! i was excited to see everyone again after their engagement session earlier in the season. mason had been an absolute doll and i knew he was going to be a bit of star at the wedding!
after the ceremony we stayed on the property since there were so many beautiful spots right there for photos. ground covered in moss, trails through the forest, waterfalls… you really can create a beautiful image anywhere here!
the reception was held back at copper point resort and the space looked beautiful. cody and kellie had antlers as bouquet holders on the head table, a danish wedding cake with rings that you twist to determine how many children you will have (i think they got 5 or 6???) and lots of other unique and lovely touches. one of my personal favourites was the c and k letters filled with succulents.
thanks so much for sharing your beautiful day with me cody and kellie! i wish you a life filled with joy and laughter, surrounded by those you love and adore.
